But I didn't try to migrate photos directly from one cloud service to another cloud service because it is only possible to migrate the whole account and not selected albums only. For example I am able to upload simultanously to Flickr, smugmug and Google photos. What happens when You try to migrate? I use picbackman too for uploading and downloading. It doesn't matter since I can't get a single picture to migrate - nor can I get those people to reply to my emails If you know the magic answer, I would be so grateful. I am a bit of a luddite but my husband isn't and he couldn't manage either.

I've tried every possible way to drag, copy/paste individual pictures from two open windows and no luck. However there is a message on that site saying the Picasa section isn't working. It doesn't matter since I can't get a single picture to migrate - nor can I get those people to reply to my emails. I immediately got an email saying I'd had trouble paying but both my credit card and "my account" says I do indeed have a platinum account. So I set up the monthly picbackman platinum account.

I couldn't move an album of less than 100 pictures, as the free version said. Last night I tried the free version of picbackman and no luck. And yes, I had logged onto to both accounts (Picasa and Flickr). I received strange messages (failed to connect storage - no token) so figured the phone couldn't handle it and tried again on an iPad (same messages). I can upload from my computer (iMac) but have failed every other way.įirst I tried to avoid my computer altogether and tried the MyGr8 app on my phone. I've opened a Flickr account and placed some photos there to get a feel for it. There are 31GB of about 7,000 photos stored there. Picasa has the photos I wanted made public vs. I'd like to move them in the state they are in (large & possibly already edited). I would like to migrate / copy photos directly from Picasaweb to Flickr. After much research, Flickr seems the best choice for us. Since google has made so many "improvements," it is no longer the best place for us to store photos. Our rowing club has an account on Picasa.
